Hi there,
When I go to enter a payment, is there any way to set that drop down menu of payment type to be on Paypal? 95% of our payments are done through paypal and it defaults to Check. Just curious if we have a way to not change that every time we enter a payment. If we got a payment a day it wouldn't be a big deal but we get several every day and it tends to be a pain in the rump after a while.

Hey there Stacey,
unfortunately there is no default setting for our drop down menus.
The drop-down menus are currently organized for the overall popularity of those options (overall meaning all FreshBooks users). Sorry about that.
Maybe future iterations of the FreshBooks user interface will have more customizable options but for now, the default is currently the first item on the list ('check').

Hey Stacey,
Unfortunately, there's currently no way to set the default option for the drop down menu. That said, are your client transferring money to your PayPal account? If so, you can actually set up your PalPal right in FreshBooks by going to "Settings" --> "Online Payment".
This way, FreshBooks will automatically log payments for you, and your client can pay you right on the invoice screen.

Tim,
It's the ones that have old paypal subscriptions from back before our Freshbooks days. They don't register in Freshbooks so I have to manually enter those.
