Teaspiller is an online service that helps connect you with tax experts. It’s a great fit for small businesses and independent contractors that rely on FreshBooks for bookkeeping. It makes it possible to get advice, upload your data and have your taxes filed by an expert, all online. It combines the convenience of an online tax solution, with the knowledge of an actual expert.

Getting Started

Getting your taxes filed is quick and easy. Just click on the Get Started button to browse through their directory of tax experts. Once you've found your expert and have started a return, you can upload your FreshBooks data by taking the following steps:

1. Click on the Reduce Taxes section.
2. Scroll down and select the 'Self-employment & Small Business' check box.
3. Select FreshBooks from the list.
4. Enter your business details and click the 'Finish' button.
5. Enter your FreshBooks API URL and Token.
6. Select what you would like to import (expenses, and payments or invoices)
7. Click the 'Finish' button.

Your data should now be ready to share with your tax expert.
