I tried submitting the following feedback to slife after using it during the demo period, but could never figure out if their overly complicated feedback submission system accepted it - something to do with not being to login through their third-party feedback provider.

Anyway, I hope this is useful to any other Freshbooks users thinking about slife:

Great work! The idea of slife is excellent and I believe this will be a useful tool. Some day.

Demo Period:
First, asking for a credit card at signup must already be showing as problematic. I only did so because slife was recommended by FreshBooks, but now I'm in a rush to evaluate so I can cancel (or not) before I forget my 30 days is up. Normally I would never leave a credit card for a demo period, especially since no one else asks me to. You're starting out defensively, which is never a good thing for a useful service.

And why no annual or semi-annual subscription option?

Usability:
Here's where I started to crash with slife. I'm spending so much time going to my activities, editing one to tie it to an activity, saving, then repeating. Why not a list with checkboxes and dropdowns so I can quickly delete items or tie them to activities?

And why can't I immediately set goals on newly created activities? This isn't as much of a bother since it's not done as much as other tasks, but it's a needless annoyance.

It would be nice to manage all this stuff from my desktop instead of logging into the website five times a day, but I can understand how that saves costs and programming.

Functionality:
This may be the straw that's breaking this camel's back. I should be able to to sort and filter the lists of programs and sites so I can find the ones I want to adjust faster. I should be able to delete them, in bulk, quickly.

I should be able to see what activities they're already tied to (or at least that they are/aren't tied to at least one activity) so I don't waste time going into details to find out.

I should be able to group the sites or documents so I can mark mark everything on CollegeHumor website as personal and everything on SomeCompany website as work for a particular project.

There are numerous other features that should already be included, but they're not as important.

Conclusion:
Outstanding idea! Meh execution. When it's feature rich and not so resembling a Beta release, I can see getting a subscription. Until then, it's doing more hurt than heal to my productivity.
