How does it work?

You can submit documents by e-mail, with one of Shoeboxed’s Prepaid Envelopes, with one of their free desktop uploaders, or from their free Android and iPhone apps.

Once processed and human-verified by Shoeboxed, receipts can also be exported to Excel, PDF, Quickbooks, Outright, Evernote, and others. Shoeboxed also processes business cards.

You just got to love a web site or product that does exactly what they claim and that's to take receipts and turn them into recordable expenses. They will take your paper receipts via mail, iPhone, scan, or email and store the image and create an expense record that then can be imported into FreshBooks!

Customer service has been very responsive to my questions.

This is highly recommended!

I have just started with Shoeboxed, and it is already paying off. I haven't been this organized for my loose receipts and business cards in a long time. The dashboard is easy, and the mobile feature rocks for when you really don't want to loose a contact or an expense to track.

I highly recommend the service, and have begun setting up my clients with the service. I consult on operations and efficiencies for small businesses, and handling paperwork is always task one.
