The easiest way to send instant FreshBooks notifications

itDuzzit makes it possible to implement instant FreshBooks notifications, without any development. Simply drag and drop to build a ‘duzzit’ and do neat things like send sms notifications when an invoice is paid.

How it works

itDuzzit is a cloud-based platform that makes it easy to integrate FreshBooks with other sites, applications, and services. Select from a gallery of pre-built FreshBooks applications and notifications or build your own app, called a ‘duzzit’, using the no-coding duzzit editor. With itDuzzit, you have drag-and-drop access to over 60 FreshBooks APIs and a growing library of API connectors to other sites and applications.

Some examples of things you can build with itDuzzit include:

Send SMS text notifications to yourself or your clients when events occur within FreshBooks.
Integrate FreshBooks with your order system.
Synch your FreshBooks client information with your CRM.

Getting Started

Click on the Get Started button above to sign-up for an account. To start building your own duzzit:

Login to your itDuzzit account.
Link your FreshBooks account to your itDuzzit account on the itDuzzit Connections page.
Get an API token on the itDuzzit Account page.
Select a webhook notification from the Duzzit Libray or create your own.
Click the ‘Register this Webhook’ button to enable the notification.

The staff was unbelievably helpful as well. They responded almost immediately when I requested the addition of some Quickbase API duzzits. I can't say enough good things about this service.

Thank you very much to Steve at www.itduzzit.com for developing a system for us to generate all of our invoices from an excel spreadsheet. ItDuzzit made it happen in 2 days!

Our company (GPS) is spread over multiple states, multiple platforms, multiple skill sets and personalities (Notice that I deliberately left off the multiple personalities, but you can use your imagination here). This has meant (in the past) that we have used numerous tools to maintain not only our client base, but also the systems to run the different jobs that we perform for our clients.

I had seen itDUZZit in the apps, but to be honest have never really understood what the apis do, just that they DO ... what they do. We have been looking for a system of tracking that would enable us to keep using Freshbooks, but would remove the non-synch'ing nightmare we were currently experiencing.

We found the solution to half of that in BlueFolder. But I was still having to manually invoice, transfer information over, figure out what was or was not paid. Enter itDUZZit. Not only did they build the solution to my specs - they also worked with us on best practices, and today was the first day that we automated the system. It took them less time to build what I needed and put it into place than it took for me to figure out what I was going to write here. (that MIGHT be an exaggeration, but not much of a one.)

You don't need to know how api's fit together. You don't have to know how to make them work. You simply need to call itDUZZit, or contact them on their site, and they will do it.

I've become a big fan of these FreshBooks Add-ons, as I run a small business with a bunch of customers, and I'm fond of whatever provides my customers and I a consistent experience without giving me yet another job; more so I appreciate any tool that can put me in more places at the same time. So I've been monitoring the FreshBooks updates closely to find the right tools for my business. A recent email touted a couple "itDuzzit" features, and I thought "wow, that sounds like it could be useful". Having a little less than a clue about "webhooks" I immediately contacted tech support to see if what I wanted to accomplish could be done through their platform. As it turns out my needs were very easily met, most of which inside an hour.

Specifically, I wanted to automatically notify my clients when FreshBooks "Projects" were created and closed. This provides my company a couple more opportunities to get in front of the customer (in some fashion) and actually provide information that's useful to them (so they have to look at it). So far, the clients I've spoke with really like the new feature; even though it is an old evil Jedi mind trick...

In short, and in my opinion, "itDuzzit" is a stellar product with stellar support.

Hi, name is Matthew Howe with Technical Services Inc. I have been using cloud based technologies for quite some time now with some difficulties with the integrations etc.. For instance in order to accomplish certain specific goals such as time tracking via SMS which I will focus on right now (There are so many more) I explored nearly every aspect of time tracking via my droid phone, SMS via a typical cell phone... There are a few "Good" apps out there that will collect data via SMS, email, im etc... and export that data to freshbooks. There is only one other than ItDuzzIt that will do this however it is not direct. With ItDuzzIt and their excellent support over there, I am able to send a text with basic information such as ($x.xx, "client name", description) and have it go to the correct corresponding fields in freshbooks to complete the final invoice, and email it out automatically if the customer is already in the system. If they are not in the system, it creates a draft invoice for the new customer. I have been trying to get this type of system put together for around a year, exploring all sorts of systems including Salesforce (Expensive)... as well as probably 20 others. ItDuzzIt accomplished what I needed over a few phone conversations and some email collaboration, within the same day. Very Very impressive. I will be looking to ItDuzzIt for integrations into my task management and other data communication systems in the near future. Hats off to the team at ItDuzzit! I cannot express my appreciation enough. They have taken the headache out of billing for us at Technical Services Inc. Thank you.

Using FreshBooks webhooks, and the built-in duzzit API calls, I was able to fix a major flaw in our invoicing system, and locate thousands of dollars of "lost" receivables.

Our Ticket Management System is now synced, in real-time, with our FreshBooks account. ItDuzzit allows us to send out invoices directly through our TMS, without having to log in to Freshbooks. This use to require a convoluted 3-step export/import/send process, which led to quite a few invoices never actually making it out to the client.

With ItDuzzit, we were able to match up invoices and tickets in both databases, find the orphan tickets, and create a system to prevent the same problem from happening with future invoices. We now receive immediate confirmation of sent invoices, and our system automatically updates the status. As soon as invoices are sent, a payment is made, or a client disputes an invoice, the FreshBooks invoice status is pushed over to our TMS. This also allows our technicians to see if there is an outstanding balance on an account, BEFORE they begin working with a client.

The increased functionality, and peace of mind, that itDuzzit has provided us is PRICELESS!

Using the Itduzzit webhook for Freshbooks is great. We are able to notify our Clients by SMS if there account is in jeopardy of being suspended. It was fun, and easy to create.
