How it Works
Easy Insight provides you with the ability to create a wide range of custom reports on top of your FreshBooks data. An easy to use ad-hoc report builder makes it possible for business users to quickly create the lists, crosstabs, or charts they need to effectively manage invoices and expenses.

Easy Insight also connects to Basecamp, Highrise, Salesforce and Constant Contact.
Getting Started
- Login to your Easy Insight account.
- Click on the Connections tab.
- Click on the FreshBooks link and click Connect to FreshBooks.
- Enter your FreshBooks subdomain and click on the Authorize button.
Your connection should now be set up and you should be ready to create your FreshBooks dashboard.

Easy-Insight has revolutionized my approach to building reports on FreshBooks based data. Gone are my days of building supplemental reports in Excel, and all those headaches about whether data is up-to-date. And now no one needs to code reports using FreshBooks API because with Easy-Insight has drag-and-drop reports so team members can build their business-level reports in an instant.
James and his team have built a profoundly useful tool. Easy-Insight really is an infrastructure capability because it can cross-reference so many diverse sources - vital for us because we rely on many services from across the cloud. And they've clearly built a powerful framework as James was able to add FreshBooks Line Item reporting within just a couple of weeks.
