After Deborah contacted us re the faced issues we have successfully solved all misunderstandings and now we would like to share some notes here for other users as well:

1) Freshbooks at the moment doesn't provide direct support of Comindwork, that is why you need to use Basecamp integration. Comindwork API is fully compatible with Basecamp API, so all third-party tools that work with Basecamp will work with Comindwork. So, Freshbook will work with Comindwork as it integrates with Basecamp.

2) On Basecamp integration screen you need to enter only your Comindwork username and password, you do not need to have Basecamp account - we just use that form for integration.

3) Please ensure that in URL field you enter "http://api.comindwork.com" - that URL will direct Freshbook to Comindwork to get your data. You need to enter that exact url, please do not change it to your company alias name or any other string.

This entry does not tell me how to integrate with Comindwork. It states to go to the Basecamp integration page. Just for kicks, I entered my account info there to see if it was really a generic input for any service, but I got an error back stating that the account info was not for Basecamp.

Ok, so what do I really do to integrate Comindwork?
