A simple way to do business

Connecting FreshBooks to your Capsule account lets you access your invoicing history alongside your sales projects. There’s no need to go back and forth between FreshBooks and Capsule while you’re on sales calls or updating your client profiles. All of the information you need is readily available in one simple view in Capsule.

How it works

Connecting FreshBooks to your Capsule account lets you bring your FreshBooks clients into Capsule, as well as take leads from Capsule, and turn them into clients in FreshBooks. You will then be able to view outstanding invoices and payment history within each client profile in capsule. This gives you instant insight into how much your clients owe you.

Capsule - summed up

Capsule is a web based CRM that helps you manage your business relationships. Add your leads as contacts and track the progress of opportunities as they are presented to you. The dashboard view helps you estimate incoming sales revenue, and the calendar view helps you manage your milestones.  Capsule helps you stay on top of your business relationships!

Capsule also integrates with Xero and MailChimp.

I love it.

The integration w FB is seemless. Works great on the blackberry.

Only downside: I haven't found a way to sort the contacts by organization.

This is the way FB does it.

Quality CRM, good functionality and integrates quite well with Freshbooks. I was looking for low cost alternative to SalesForce CRM and I think I found it!

This is the only tool that I have found that combines the features I was looking for:
-Ability to create new Freshbooks customers from within CRM - all the information exports
-Merging accounts that exist in Freshbooks with CRM - new information imports and merges
-Bi-directional syncing of account information between Freshbooks and CRM - so the CRM maintains the most accurate information
-Upload of past emails with capability to modify the date assigned to the email
-Linking of Twitter and LinkedIn
-Bi-directional calendar integration
-The list goes on.

Give this addon a try. You will not be disappointed.

One word: Amazing.

As a freelancer I only need one user account, so $12/month for a well thought-out app like Capsule is a steal. I feel like someone read my mind and has given me the exact features/interface that I need to manage my sales process. And the Freshbooks integration is flat-out AWESOME. Between Capsule and Freshbooks, I feel like I've got a world-class system for managing my business.

CRM has one PRIMARY GOAL (and they are properly selling it as such a system) -- SALES. But guess what? This system DOES NOT integrate with FreshBooks for creating estimates. There's no way to link to estimates -- in fact, nothing at all mentioned ANYWHERE about estimates.

You tell me: when was the last time you created a sale without quoting the prospect on the product or service?

Rubbish.

It does, however, show previous invoices which, for our business, isn't solely helpful. It does synchronize without any intervention. But, no opportunity to estimate links? That's disgusting. I'm heading over to Solve360 and hope theirs works.

So far I am liking it but I have 3 problems so far.

1. At first I was going to have it setup for 2 people. Well, when it comes down to it, I would need 4 licenses (minimum). That's $48 a month. That's more than what I originally budgeted. I signed up through google apps. that might have been part of my problem.

2. I still need to setup the tracks. I think they are important tools but I haven't found the time to do them the right way.

3. I went with freshbooks and Xero to help me do a better job invoicing and tracking. I went with Capsule to do a better job following up with leads. While the other two have definitely helped, I haven't found myself doing a good job updating stuff with capsule.

I love the integration with freshbooks but I also found out it doesn't integrate with xero at the same time. makes sense cause freshbooks talks to Xero.

All in all the integration with Freshbooks and google apps I definitely like, I am unfortunately trying to reduce costs associated with the CRM portion.

This is rad. I found Capsule through freshbooks, and am LOVING the integration. I tried batchbook which also has decent freshbooks integration... personally my sales background leaves me feeling much more comfortable with Capsule, which is structured more like a traditional crm. The interface is very fresh and clearly has had a lot of thought put into it. With the integration with Google Apps + Freshbooks this is an awesome tool!

Easy to set-up and use; great to see how much has been invoiced and how much is outstanding right on a customers record. What a time saver!

@Culpitt there's a 30 day free trial on the professional edition to try out FreshBooks integration.

Rubbish - freshbooks integration is only available on the Professional Plan, which costs £8 per user per month. No chance to test out the integration. A Waste of time
