Autotask helps you manage your IT businesses. Get organized, and optimize your workflow from a comprehensive cloud platform.

How it works
The Autotask-FreshBooks integration by itDuzzit lets you import invoice and account information from Autotask into FreshBooks.  The integration uses the generic XML invoice file export feature of Autotask.  Generate invoices using Autotask, send the invoices to FreshBooks using the itDuzzit import utility, and send your invoices via email.

Autotask works fine. Firefox has an "IE Emulation" add-on called IE Tabs. That might work for you. I think the add-on is abailable on the Mac and iOS products as well. Worth checking.

I received an invitation from Freshbooks for a webinar so I took a look at the product.

I'm shocked to see that AutoTask requires Internet Explorer and is dependent on VBScript and ActiveX. This means it only works on the Windows platform plus you'll need local computer administrator rights to install and run it.

I love being able to use Freshbooks on an iPad, Android Tablet, Mac, whatever I happen to be at. To me a true cloud product is 100% web based and works on any device.
